Motor City Cabaret  

Motor City Cabaret (MCC) is a musical theatre performance and outreach program that tours a family-friendly and LGBTQIA+ inclusive, musical revue to local schools, libraries, and community centers. Our program aims to create an awareness and appreciation of the art of theatre and dance through an energetic and informative hour-long performance. Our shows are devised by our Musical Theatre students and faculty and include the best numbers from Broadway’s most recognizable shows.

About the Show:

This year’s revue, Together, Wherever We Go, weaves a vibrant and heartwarming story about a high school senior who sets off on an unforgettable road trip to New York City for her first Broadway callback. As she embarks on the journey with her family in tow, the show delights audiences with spectacular performances of beloved numbers from various cherished musicals, such as The Lightning Thief, Hairspray, Annie, Pippin, Shrek, and Beetlejuice; each performance is a celebration of passion, talent, and the magic of theatre.

Booking Info

  • Tour dates: February-April with tour dates available on Friday mornings or by special request
  • Tour rates: $300 School / $150 Title I School / $400 Non-school
    For distances requiring travel greater than 30 miles, please inquire about mileage and gas fees.
  • Additional Options: Add on a one-hour workshop for just $50.
    Workshops consist of a warm-up and choreography from the show
    Add a second performance (same date, same location) for an additional $50.

Space Requirements

Because of the staging requirements for this tour, the following space requirements are necessary.

  • Stage, gym, or open space: 25' x 25'
  • Wood or tile floor preferred. Please inform us if you have a carpeted floor!
  • Minimum 8' ceiling
  • Working electrical outlet
