About Company One

Company One provides entertainment and education through exciting dance performances designed for audiences of all ages both on campus and at venues throughout metro-Detroit. Company One dance productions create a lively experience through the use of contemporary dance choreography, narration, technology, and music. Each program features the choreography of company dancers, local artists, and esteemed national guest artists.

The Mixing Bowl

This season Artist Director, Lisa Rose LaMarre Wilmot, is collaborating with guests, Derrick Finley “Ponytailderrick” and Kylie Vinitski to develop an original show based on the theme of The Mixing Bowl. The work will be premiered at Noel Night and then tour to local K12+ schools in the new year. The show welcomes audiences of all ages.

The Mixing Bowl will be presented on the STAGE of the Hilberry Gateway.

Ages 6 and older are welcome to join Company One dancers for this exciting day of dance classes open to the community. Build new relationships and develop essential mind-body awareness in a fun-filled environment. Dance classes include: Contemporary, Jazz, Jazz Funk, Lyrical, Improv, Ballet, Musical Theatre.

Please arrive 15 minutes early.
