Video: Tigers' Miguel Cabrera, Prince Fielder shed little light on their handshake
Throughout the season, Tigers sluggers Miguel Cabrera and Prince Fielder, have shared an elaborate handshake that's gotten a lot of attention. While neither offered much insight into how they came up with the handshake, outside sources have commented on the technique. Jeff Rebudal, an associate professor of dance and choreography at Wayne State, said the difficulty wasn't the complexity of the moves, but the speed in which they happened. Breaking it down and slowing it down would help people learn, he said. Rebudal, who has been doing choreography formally for about 30 years, offered his perspective on how the players could tweak their movements. He said using their whole bodies, in addition to their arms, would maximize the excitement of it.
