"At 82, life is still a stage"

A feature story chronicles the busy life of 82-year-old Wayne State University student Lois Bendler. She's active in the theater community -- most recently designing the set for the Grosse Pointe Theatre's upcoming production of "Hairspray" -- but she's also attending WSU full time for a degree in set design, teaching piano and directing the Pointe Players at Grosse Pointe South High School. "I like a challenge," she said. "I like to grow. The world is such a huge place with so much (to discover). I'm consumed by curiosity."
