"WSU Studio Theatre presents heck of a festival at Heck-Rabi competition"

For 13 years, the Studio Theatre, downstairs at Wayne State University's Hilberry Theatre, has hosted the Louise Heck-Rabi Dramatic Writing Competition. Winning student playwrights get the opportunity to work with student directors and actors and have their work showcased in a full production. This year's Heck-Rabi one-act festival is made up of three short plays and is found to be "an emotional and fun time at the theater." Plot overviews, dates and ticket information are given.

"Heck-Rabi showcase of student-written plays at WSU Studio"

The Studio Theatre at Wayne State University is hosting the Louise Heck-Rabi Dramatic Writing Competition March 29 through April 7 in the Studio Theatre, downstairs at the Hilberry. The winning Heck-Rabi playwrights are awarded a full production of their written work and each playwright has a chance to work with a student director and student performers to bring their piece to life on stage.
