THR 1100, State of the Arts: Contemporary Creative Practices
Fall 2011
Tues/Thurs 1:25-2:50pm
CRN# 16851

Looking for an opportunity to experiment across the disciplines of theatre, dance, visual art and music?

Interested in examining the most current creative practices by visiting museums, galleries and live performance events?

State of the Arts is an experimental creative practices course ***for students from all majors and backgrounds*** offered during the Fall semester.

Meet new people from other departments and create original works with them! Visit new venues in town to see both local and touring artists at work!

Learn about how both historical and contemporary artists have drawn inspiration from outside their disciplines - musicians inspired by art, dancers inspired by filmmakers, designers inspired by actors....

State of the Arts provides a fun, dynamic platform to explore new territory in the arts!
