"Ties That Bind event honors family, community support in conflict and uncertainty"

The Penny Godboldo (PG) Institute celebrated on July 9 The Ties That Bind, a day-long conference and concert featuring dramatist Madelyn Porter and the Ngoma Za Amen-Ra Institute drummers and dancers. Wayne State University dance instructor Karen Prall offered an African Congolese Dance Class during the event.
