Kara Brody, a rising junior in the Maggie Allesee Department of Theatre and Dance, recently received Honorable Mention in the Dance Magazine Outstanding Student Performance & Outstanding Student Choreography Awards given out at the 2014 National College Dance Festival. Brody's performance in the cast of "Hissy Fits", danced by ten Wayne State dancers on the Kennedy Center's Terrace Theater stage June 5th, impressed the panel with her "power and sense of attack."
