Fine acting sustains Hilberry's 'Othello'

Theatre critic John Monaghan gives the Hilberry's new production of "Othello" three out of four stars, lauding the title performance by Edmund Alyn Jones. Additionally, he notes that director Blair Anderson has spent considerable effort making the Shakespearean language accessible, right down to the smallest roles. "Othello" continues in rotating repertory through Jan. 17, 2013.

"Othello" next on Hilberry stage

The Hilberry Theatre at Wayne State University continues its 50th season with William Shakespeare's tragedy "Othello," opening on Friday, Oct. 26. "Othello" will be running in rotating repertory with "Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet)" by Ann-Marie MacDonald.
