Exciting things are happening at Wayne State's Hilberry Theatre this Thursday and Friday night! Come out and see the new play, 'Detroit' by Lisa D'Amour, playing both nights, along with special post-show talkbacks with the Pulitzer Prize-nominated playwright. Audiences will be able to ask Lisa D'Amour questions about her play, which has been produced in only three other places. Thursday, January 31, a preshow discussion will be held by scenic designer Pegi Marshall-Amundsen, who will discuss her design concept for the Hilberry Theatre's production of 'Detroit.' The discussion begins at 7:15 p.m. Attendees of this Thursday night performance will also enjoy small samplings of cake from Slows Bar BQ after the post-show talkback as well as receive coupons for the restaurant.

Friday, February 1 is part of the Hilberry Theatre's Young Professionals Fridays Series. Join your fellow young professionals from Metro Detroit at the Hilberry Theatre. Start your night out at the Bronx Bar as the recommended dinner venue and end your night at Third Street Bar to mix and mingle with the young professionals in the Hilberry Company after the performance.
