Francis Stansky Teaches Master Classes

The Maggie Allesee Department of Dance is excited to have New York dance performer Francis Stansky in residence this week, teaching Master Classes. Stansky, originally from Worcester MA, is a graduate of Connecticut College and currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. Since moving to New York in 2003 he has been fortunate to work with many great artists and study under the direction of BarbaraMahler. Mr. Stansky has performed and created with David Dorfman, Jeffrey Rebudal, Gail Gilbert, Randy James, Douglas Dunn, Christopher Williams, Luke Miller, Jeremy Nelson, Luis Lara Malvacias, Wally Cardona, and Joanna Kotze. Notable performances have been at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Joyce Theater, Dance Theater Workshop, Danspace Project, Judson Church and the Baryshnikov Arts Center. Francis has toured and taught throughout South America, Europe, Canada, China, Russia and the U.S.
