2025-2026 Season Tickets
Season tickets for the 2025-2026 season are on sale now. Purchase either the GATEWAY PACKAGE or the PICK 6 PACKAGE.
The GATEWAY PACKAGE includes tickets to every play and musical in the 2024-2025 season. The PICK 6 PACKAGE includes your selection of six theatre and dance productions. Season Tickets can be ordered by mail, over the phone, or in person during Box Office open hours. Additional details about season tickets can be found under Season Ticket Purchasing Details.
Single tickets and group tickets go on sale June 17, 2025.

Season Ticket Purchasing Details
Step 1: Choose a Package
- Gateway Package (Includes: The Play That Goes Wrong, Seven Guitars, Violet, Julius Caesar, The SpongeBob Musical, Paradise Lost)
- Pick 6 Package (Pick 6 productions: The Play That Goes Wrong, Seven Guitars, Violet, December Dance Concert, Julius Caesar, The SpongeBob Musical, Paradise Lost, 96th Annual Spring Dance Concert)
Step 2: Choose Your Preferred Show Day
- First Friday 7:30 p.m.
- First Saturday 2 p.m.
- First Saturday 7:30 p.m.
- Wednesday 2 p.m.
- Thursday 7 p.m.
- Second Friday 7:30 p.m.
- Second Saturday 2 p.m.
- Second Saturday 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday 3 p.m.
Step 3: Pick Your Seats for the STAGE
- The STAGE seating is reserved. The STUDIO seating is general admission.
Step 4: Select your season ticket type
- Adult: $129
- Seniors (62+): $105
- WSU Employees and Alumni: $105
- Student (at any school): $60

Season Ticket holders can choose to have their season tickets mailed to them (for an additional fee) or made available for pick-up at the Hilberry Gateway Box Office.

Box Office Hours:
Tuesday - Friday: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Extended Box Office hours for performance times at the Hilberry Gateway:
- Wednesday: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. for Wednesday performances
- Thursdays: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for Thursday performances
- Fridays: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Friday performances
- Saturdays: 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Saturday performances
- Sundays: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for Sunday performances
The Box Office is closed during University Holiday closures. The University is closed for Holiday on the dates below.

Ticket Information and Frequently Asked Questions
- What if I can’t make my performance?
Exchanging your tickets is easy: contact Wayne State Box Office at 313-577-2972 or boxoffice@wayne.edu or come to the box office.
Ticket buyers may exchange their tickets for a different date of the same or different production no later than 48 hours before the original performance date. Unused tickets may not be exchanged after the performance date.
Tickets may only be exchanged for Theatre and Dance season productions. Please note that select events or promotions may not be eligible for exchange. All exchanges are subject to availability. Unused tickets for a sold-out performance may be converted to a donation All ticket sales are final, and we do not offer refunds.
- What if the performance is canceled?
In the unlikely event of a canceled performance, ticket holders are offered the option of attending another performance of the same production (pending availability) or exchanging their ticket for a different performance.
- When performances sell out, is there a waiting list line? What is the policy?
Cancellation lines form in person thirty minutes prior to the performance for sold-out performance events in the Hilberry Gateway lobby. Seats that become available are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
- How many shows are included in Season Tickets?
6 shows. Choose the GATEWAY PACKAGE for tickets to every play and musical in the season or the PICK 6 PACKAGE and select the six theatre and dance productions you want to see this season.
- Is there a difference between being a subscriber and a season ticket holder?
No. Subscribers and Season Ticket holders receive the same great benefits.
- Is seating in the Hilberry Gateway general admission?
The STAGE seating is reserved. The STUDIO seating is general admission.
- What time do doors open prior to a performance?
The lobby will open one (1) hour prior to performance start time. Theatre doors open 1/2 hour prior to performance start time unless held by production, which is rare.
